Cancellation Policy

Otter Encounter Booking Policy Experience Length: This is a one-time, 30-minute otter encounter. Pricing: The total cost is $250 per encounter. Group Size: You are booking 1 encounter. This encounter can have up to 6 people. Children must be at leat 10 years old to attend the encounter. Children ages 10–17 must be accompanied by a paid adult and count toward the total number of guests. We reserve the right to not allow children into the encounter if they are under the age of 10. We reserve the right to remove any person from any encounter if animal safety is a concern. In this instance, no money will be refunded. Deposit & Payments: A $100 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due as outlined during checkout. Refunds & Changes: All deposits are non-refundable. Dates and times cannot be changed once the event is booked and confirmed. By completing your booking, you acknowledge and agree to these terms. Otter Encounter Waiver & Acknowledgement of Risk By participating in an otter encounter at Niagara Downunder, I acknowledge and agree to the following: I understand that this experience involves entering a live animal’s enclosure, which is the animal’s natural domain. Animals are unpredictable, and interactions with live animals carry inherent risks, including but not limited to scratches, bites, or other injuries. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participating in this encounter and agree to follow all staff instructions at all times. Animal safety is the top priority. Niagara Downunder reserves the right to remove any participant who behaves in an unsafe, disruptive, or obnoxious manner toward the animals or staff, at any time, without refund. Niagara Downunder also reserves the right to deny entry to any individual if staff determines participation may pose a risk to the animals, staff, or other guests. No refunds will be issued in these cases. Children ages 10–17 must be accompanied by a paid adult, and that adult is responsible for actively monitoring and supervising the child at all times during the encounter. I understand that outside food or drinks are strictly prohibited in the animal enclosure. Animals will not be fed any items brought in by guests. I agree not to wear jewelry, dangling accessories, or excessive perfumes, colognes, or scented products that could irritate or distract the animals.
